My Goals are to...

Continue to work, in a non-political way, to move Cabell County forward.

Work with the other elected officials in the county and their staff to help them fulfill their responsibilities to the people of Cabell County.

Complete the 911 Center, hopefully by the first of the year, 2009.

See an ambulance station built in the Milton area, followed by one in the Barboursville area.

Continue to bring economic development to Cabell County.

Work with HADCO to bring more companies and jobs to the new industrial site on Route 2.

Support Tri-state Airport to bring more air service to the tri-state and keep the service that we now have.

Provide support and work cooperatively with the cities in Cabell County, Huntington, Barboursville and Milton.

Keep jail costs down!

Develop a great working relationship with the new sheriff and provide those things that he feels are necessary to fight crime and drugs in the county.

Continue to provide water to rural parts of the county.

Appoint the best people possible to serve on boards, committees and advisory groups for the county regardless of their political affiliation.

Continue to provide salary increases and good benefits to county employees and treat them with the utmost respect as they carry out their many job responsibilities.

Of course, continue to take care of the day-to-day responsibilities that are required of the County Commission.

Be my own person, listen to the people, and make decisions based on what I believe is best for Cabell County and the people who live here.
