I have served as a Cabell County Commissioner for the past 6 years and during that time my goal has been to move Cabell County forward.

During my time in office, the Commission has built two new ambulance stations and the third one is under construction. A new 911 center is now being built and will be a state-of-the-art facility with the latest technology and equipment. Bids have been let to provide water service to 122 families with a 1.9 million dollar grant. Bonding was approved to allow new construction at Marshall University, St. Mary’s Hospital and Cabell Huntington Hospital. Fire Protection and Economic Development Levies have been approved with money going to Volunteer Fire Departments in the County and the Huntington Fire Department. Economic Development money has been used for the Tri-State Airport, HADCO and other economic development projects.

My background of leadership experience and my ability to work with both parties at the local, state and federal level has and will continue to accomplish much for Cabell County. I will be responsive to the needs of the people of Cabell County and will work hard to see that those needs are met.

I have never considered myself a politician. I will always be my own person and make decisions based on what is best for Cabell County, not what is politically expedient. I do have a lot of leadership and organizational skills and I will use those skills to move Cabell County forward.
